We collect your email address as a feedback mechanism when you report traffic to our Traffic Center. We will send you an acknowledgment that we have heard your report. We may also have future features that use your email address. For example, if you were to change smartphone and still want to keep your recorded routes, your email address would be needed to transfer your routes.
